According to the SEC, with whom the docs were filed showing Romney as CEO, being named CEO makes you responsible for the decisions made at the company during that time.Quote

responsibility for calling the shots is not the same as actually calling the shots for which there is no definition applicable to
CEO and acting CEO are not necessarily the same.
Really, billb? Is that your best shot? It would have been better to remain silent.

The Democrats in the state of Massachusetts were more than happy with the taxes Romney paid to massachusetts for that three year period and meeting residency requirements which allowed him to run for Governor.Quote

There's also the issue of Romney using his work responsibilities at Bain during the 99-02 period to justify calling Massachusetts his main residency during that time, even though he lived in Utah. He also had to pay Massachusetts back taxes because he didn't file there, after saying that he had. He needed all that in order to run for Governor. The guy just twists every situation to fit his current political or business goals, the usual rules don't seem to apply to him.

You may want to characterize Democrats in the State of Massachusetts as fools and idiots and I can assure you they are not.
Some of those who have changed party affiliations might be.

Not sure what you're trying to say. I've never characterize Democrats in your state as anything at all. I'm sure the state was happy to have revenue that a resident was claiming to have paid, but had not.

That wasn't the requirement for running.
and you can hop on a plane, fly to Boston, buy a meal at one of Logan's finest dining emporiums, fly home and you can claim to have paid taxes in Massachusetts in 2012. Without batting an eye.
Actually, you could lend someone your CC number and save the airfare.
Easy peasy.
