GOP Convention News: Before she was a primetime speaker against big government, she was a consultant on how to build a business with the help of big government

No dripping irony at all.

Small business woman Sher Valenzuela, (also a candidate for Lt. Governor in Delaware), gave a primetime speech at the opening “We Build It” themed day of the Republican convention.

Not only did Valenzuela give a PowerPoint-presentation to the Wilmington Women In Business forum in April that was entirely focused on working with the government can build your business, but she has made similar presentations in the past to other groups.

Also - Jack Gilchrist, who has already been exposed as having benefitted from government loans and contracts was also asked to speak by organizers who apparently just don't care.

It's not "irony."

It's "hypocrisy."

It's all because the GOP has embraced the concept that you can feed the American people BS and they won't even notice. They are big believers in "Do what I say, not what I do".
And it really does work on a lot of the population. I don't happen to believe it is a way to win a national election but maybe I'm an optimist.
