The last law to 'reduce healthcare costs' isn't fully in effect as yet, but I can almost guarantee that it won't reduce costs a bit. And yet a President is expecting to be relected on the strength of a law that has not been proven to work.

What I'm going to do about it is vote for Pres. Obama and other Dems for Congress, because they were willing to tackle this very serious and real problem while Republicans stuck their heads in the sand and cheered for the status quo.

Pundits have done a pretty good job of cherry picking from the Massachusetts experience and turning a blind eye to those results that don't support their rhetoric so far .....

Much of this is thanks to the Pharmaceutical Enrichment Act, the off-budget, no tax increase law sometimes known as the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act passed in 2003.
