HRW cites more evidence of US torture

Libyan rebels, now members of the government, describe their torture by the US. After detention and torture, they were handed over to Qaddafi on a silver platter. Ironic, and a shameful period of US policy.

It's nice to see that the right wing will no longer be pontificating about morality, since (at least according to this post) time washes away all sins. I will avoid giving a lecture on how to spell Libya.

Did you read the article? If you did, it should be of note that some of these tortured men are now Libyan government officials. While it might be of no interest to those ignorant of foreign policy, it is of interest to those who understand that the US must interact with a larger world.

Torture doesn't work, just ask Colleen Stan and Janice Hooker.
They'll tell ya how ineffective it is.

I seem to recall it being labeled as "unreliable". Which of course, it is.

It's only old if you approve of such tactics. Most right thinking people believe they are torture and illegal under the UN charter the US signed and agreed to abide by. You call yourself a Christian?
