Oh, to the subject matter. With McConnell, Ryan and the rest of the treasonous GOP, the successor event may have to wait until the 2019 Congress gavels to order.

I remember the hearings being on every channel, all day long. It even preempted the soap operas, which was a huge deal.

I can't imagine that happening now. Sure CNN, Foxnews, CSPAN will carry it, but gavel to gavel on the networks - not a chance.

I was glued to the TV during those hearings. We all were.

The next Congress will be as Republican as this one, perhaps even more so given the imbalance in the number of Democratic senators up for election.

Add in the inability of the Democrats to run any campaign. They seem to believe there are rules in a election campaign.

I was six years old.

I vaguely remember being disappointed that I couldn't watch The Man From U.N.C.L.E. one night. Must have been a re-run.

I think I just went outside and played since my parents didn't buy me an iPad.
