(Try not to turn this political on this side (I'm sure the other side will have a thread going too)

Roger Ailes, who transformed cable news and then American politics by building Fox News into a ratings powerhouse, died Thursday. He was 77.

lifelong hemophilia ? I had no idea.... so many contracted HIV in the contamination disaster in the 1980's, and died as a result.

Soo.... why did this land here? I really don't see anything political mentioned in any of the thread responses.

Abuse of women is not a political issue of any reasonable contention. If you abuse woman, enable, encourage, or protect their abusers, any venom aimed at you is wholly deserved. This is true without any regard for the politics of the abuser or the critic.

Roger Ailes is innately political, even when dead. That's what he was about.

Yeah, but calling him a douchebag for his treatment of women isn't political.

That's the point - it's NOT ABOUT HIM.

My comment was not directed at you.

My point was that due to the way this place is run, any thread with the name Roger Ailes in the header is going to be moved no matter what anybody might say in the thread.

I've no idea why you are assuming your comment got it moved.
