He said he had updated our nuke arsenal so we are stronger..well he would have to go thru Congress for any up date or changes to the arsenal.

Any updates were started under president O.

More weenie waving from the Orange person.

"My first order as President was to renovate and modernize our nuclear arsenal. It is now far stronger and more powerful than ever before...."

Yeah, no. Not to mention treaties and whatnot. I mean, there ARE people in North Korea who can actually access open source 'intelligence resources' like Aviation & Space or even Wikipedia.

Fortunately Trumpians are not prone to consider actual facts when interpreting their beloved orange shiite Gibbon's twaddling,

Even if it had been approved (and it hasn't), it takes longer than six months for the military to upgrade a ballpoint pen, much less any nuclear weapons.

Trump's suggestion, however, that the nuclear arsenal already has been modernized under his presidency is misleading at best, given the military is still operating under a course charted during the Obama administration and any additional modernization could take many years to implement.

...The last such [nuclear force] review was conducted in 2010 under the Obama administration. As a result of a deal struck with Republicans, the military developed a purchasing plan to update all three legs of the nuclear triad with modernized weapon systems.

Modernization efforts underway include new nuclear-capable submarines, bombers and intercontinental ballistic missiles. But those are not expected to be deployed until well into the 2020s — in some cases, after a two-term President Trump would have left office.

...“Nothing’s happened yet,” said Todd Harrison, director of Defense Budget Analysis at the nonpartisan Center for Strategic & International Studies in Washington. “Obviously, these changes take time. You can’t do much in six or seven months.”

The scariest part of that piece? The phrase "a two-term President Trump"!

I have begun to assume that everything out of the White House or 45's Twit feed is a lie, unless it is verified by at least two non Alt-Reich news outlets.
