And what's funny is that all 90 of these foaming idiots are almost guaranteed to be re-elected. The treason continues!

from this article=> [hosted.ap.org]
Before Congress passed the bill, angry conservative House Republicans hissed and booed senior administration officials dispatched to Capitol Hill to defend it.

The House voted 316-90 for the measure. Republicans cast all 90 votes in opposition, many of them seething after Trump cut the disaster-and-debt deal with Democratic leaders with no offsetting budget cuts.

At least a few Texans have the courage of their convictions.

[www.axios.com]

"Four Texas Republicans voted against the House bill providing $15 billion in relief funding to southeast Texas in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, according to the Texas Tribune.

Texan Congress members presented "a united front on Harvey aid," but after the debt ceiling deal Trump cut with Rep. Pelosi and Sen. Schumer was added to the bill, Republicans weren't pleased.

The bill: The $15 billion in funding was a part of "a larger deal to avoid a government default and shutdown for the next three months," which caused hesitation among members.

The no-vote Republicans: Joe Barton of Ennis, Jeb Hensarling of Dallas, Sam Johnson of Richardson, and Mac Thornberry of Clarendon voted no. All four represent counties not impacted by Harvey.

Rep. Barton said while he isn't against relief packages, he is "against raising the public debt ceiling without a plan to reduce deficits."

Saint Cloud, Minnesota, where the weather is wonderful even when it isn't.

Yeah, over on Fox News, apparently Lou Dobbs had a cow over this treasonous cooperation with the enemy. He blames...

Paul Ryan

Not. Kidding. His rant was entitled "Death of a RINO". Also, apparently the "Freedom Caucus" (odd name for a group that demands such slavish adherance to orthodoxy) is making plans for a House revolution to unseat Ryan and replace him with...

Newt Gingrich. Or, maybe Rick Santorum. (I am not making this up!) Apparently, the fact that neither is actually in the House is no impediment to these free-thinking wingnuts.

The Freedom Caucus is made up of mini Trumps. In it for the show and the money. Knowledge and understanding of issues is a minimum and/or irrelevant.

The Constitution actually allows for the House Speaker to not be a Congressman.

Also, two FL reps voted "no" on the measure. Republicans, of course. There were other reps that didn't vote because they were personally preparing for Irma.
