Local public media station? Or commercial station?

They played a snippet of a few seconds on NPR and mentioned it was recorded. I don't know how much or whether it will be made public. Trump actually sounded pretty engaged, sort of like the SNL skit of Reagan when no one was watching.

The issue isn't so much of whether he can physically talk to a room of Dem and Repub congresspeople about things...it's whether anything that falls out of his mouth in such a setting actually means anything at all:

Quote

“What about a clean DACA bill now, with a commitment that we go into a comprehensive immigration reform procedure?” asked Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.). Trump responded: “Yeah, I would like to do that. I think a lot of people would like to see that.”

The problem? Trump didn't know what “clean DACA bill” meant. House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) quickly interjected and made clear that Trump believes a “clean” bill would include border security.

What the boss meant to say was...

Quote

By the end, Trump sought to clarify things. “I think a clean DACA bill to me is a DACA bill, but we take care of the 800,000 people,” he said. “But I think to me, a clean bill is a bill of DACA — we take care of them, and we also take care of security.”

So, does Trump insist on wall funding in return for addressing DACA, or not?

No one really knows, including Trump.

You could have watched the whole thing on tv.

If you don't stand for something, you'll probably fall for anything.t
