"Trump praises the sale of fighter jets to Norway that only exist in ‘Call of Duty’ video game"

During a press conference this past weekend with Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg, President Trump boasted about a supposed U.S. delivery of “F-52” warplanes to the Norwegian government. As it turns out, F-52s only exist in the video came Call of Duty.

Trump was reading from a statement, and it appears he combined the figure of 52 planes with the “F” designation assigned to fighter jets in the U.S. inventory, such as the F-35 Lightning II.
So Trump, as we actually already knew, just reads this stuff with no comprehension of what the words are saying. Here he paid so little attention that he confused the numbers in his head.

You probably missed that it was way down the list as item #3 in the Thursday summary.

And yes, he was referring to 52 F-35s. I had wondered if somehow Boeing had resumed production of B-52s just for Norway.

Too bad he didn't mean F-22! Those are bad ass and could cover for F-15s and F-16s doing the grind work that the F-35 cannot do!
