More Cohen "fixes" - $1.6M from RNC finance chair to pregnant Playboy model

Michael Cohen, President Trump's personal lawyer, negotiated a $1.6 million settlement for a top Republican fundraiser who faced allegations that he impregnated a Playboy model, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Cohen made the payment on behalf of Elliott Broidy, who is currently a deputy finance chair for the Republican National Committee (RNC), the Journal reports.

“At the end of our relationship, this woman shared with me that she was pregnant. She alone decided that she did not want to continue with the pregnancy and I offered to help her financially during this difficult period," he added.

What a guy. Never a thought for himself; just $1.6M out of the sheer goodness of his heart, to help out a pregnant Playboy gal who was..um...not, apparently, going to have to face financial demands from a new child.

Mr. Broidy is married, with three children, and is quite a looker:

Well, the only logical conclusion is that that's just the kind of guy that Playboy model/models/pornstars are attracted to. I guess they like em a little fleshy, y'know?

Oh, BTW, apparently there was at least a little trouble in paradise, with a contract involved:

The contract also prohibits the pursuit of what the woman said were impending legal charges against Broidy and claims that Broidy paid her for a sexual relationship that lasted one to two years, a source told the Journal.

In the deal, Broidy denies the woman's claims and also agrees not to seek further legal retribution.

Stormy Daniels' lawyer, Michael Avenatti, makes additional outrageous claims regarding Mr. Broidy:

In tweets on Thursday night, Avenatti said, "In last 18 mos, Mr. Cohen negotiated yet another hush NDA, this time on behalf of a prominent GOP donor who had a relationship with a LA woman, impregnated her and then made sure she had an abortion. The deal provided for multiple payments across many months."

This being against good GOP orthodoxy and morals, I find this unpossible.

In other completely coincidental news, apparently Mr. Broidy has announced his retirement from his RNC position.

it is ExTrEmeLy boring and banal and what have you..it's like they don't know how to cheat so they do what they think they're sposed to do..playboy, penthouse, hustler, generic stripper...jeeezuS. If I was to cheat I'd be cheating with chrissie hynde or Debbbie Harry or Patti Smith or Iggy Pop..

However ---did you know that
Michael Cohen is also on the Republican National Committee's finance committee.

Why is it that Mr. Cohen is still on the committee even after Steve Wynn (finance chairman of the Republican National Committee) and this Sleaze Broidy (national deputy finance chairman) have been driven from the money pots?
Nice to know the Republicans have always had the best people in charge!

Simple. Cohen is Pres. Trump's attorney and thus, by extension, innocent.

I think it’s kind of interesting that Cohen and crew are trying to delay things until they can find out exactly what was taken by the Feds.

It’s almost as if they need to tell clients what not to lie about.

PS- I also saw in my dead-tree news today that the Feds are saying that it looks like Cohen did little to no work as a lawyer. (Apparently paying folks off doesn’t count as legal work).

Has implications about that whole attorney-client privilege thing.
