Seems people have been available as flunkies a long time. Because he's a user, he has initial appeal until everyone gets tired of him.

It's been a good ride, all the way to the White House, hasn't it?

My suspicion is that people who cannot recognize buffoonery will, by definition, never be upset by its ineffectiveness.

Yep. Want to prove you're in control of Insane Cheeto ? Activate Article 25. NOW.

"4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President."

Will of course require His Holiness Pence to go all Judas Iscariot.
