Politically slanted jokes about an event that occurred 37 YEARS AGO are weak, no matter how you try to spin it.

Not to excuse his actions at Chappaquidick, but only one person died from his bad judgement and selfishness. Dragging this up now, when we are ruled by men who've caused the deaths of tens of thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands of innocent people seems petty in comparison. Is your point that Democrats are corrupt as well? Point granted. Thanks for the idea, though.

Thanks for posting that, refurbvirgin; I thought about making a similar point, but was preparing to leave the office after four hours overtime and decided against spending the time.

Weak crap. However, I really don't care why they hate us. I hate them for 9/11. we should've nuked them. They should be much more worried about why we hate them.

Beyond that, amazingly weak crap dredging up BS about Teddy from 37 years ago. These thugs in office have sent over 2,000 american boys to their deaths for no good reason and are on the verge of bankrupting this country. That's what's happening now. And compared to theifs and scoundrels like Frist and Lott and the complete moron Coleman and that nut Stevens, Teddy looks like Thomas Jefferson these days.

15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudis. No Iraqis. You want us to nuke Saudi Arabia as collective punishment for the actions of 15 of them? You're truly criminally insane.

No it was from National Lampoon. But it was based on VW's campaign at the time. Brilliant.

Don't take it so hard, your Furiousness. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. It's only next to you that I look good.

'Course next to Gittarman I look dazzlingly brilliant. Why he would post such a huge image without reducing it or at least altering it so it wasn't blatant plagiarism is only explained by the fact that when it comes to "weak crap" he's the Metamucil queen.

Alright. . . I give up. . . how do you put an italics command inside a bold sentence here in BrianWorld?

RgrF, just use the italics tags next to the bold tags on both sides of your sentence.

Like this.

*edit: N-OS beat me to it. And, I misunderstood Rgr's question anyway, I think. Rgr - if you want a bold sentence with just a word or two italicized inside it, just put the italic tags around the words you want, and the bold tags at both ends of the sentence.

A bold sentence with a few italics in it.

As someone once said, the bear looks at the hunter on the third day and goes, "You don't come here to hunt, do you?"

Another gay insult? That's all you got? Seriously? Don't you realize by now that all they do is expose you for the homophobe you are? How do you not get that?

Pathetic on so many levels.

So, when the class bully punched you in elementary school, did you go punch somebody smaller than you to get even?

Hint: "the 9/11 attackers" does not equal "any child in a Middle Eastern country".

There is more than a hint of racism in the "kill 'em all & let God sort 'em out" response. 9/11, in Arab eyes, was payback. And so the cycle continues....

You know what? WWII didn't mean any child in Germany or Japan either but yet we had to kill a lot of innocent people to end that one. Do you think we should've let Hitler keep the world so that we wouldn't hurt one civilian?

"War is at best barbarism. . . . Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot or heard the shrieks and moans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, more vengeance, more desolation. War is hell."
William Tecumseh Sherman (Bartletts: Attributed to a graduation address at Michigan Military Academy June 19, 1879.)

What is your experience of war, G'man? A good friend killed himself because he couldn't live with the memory of what he'd done in Vietnam. At least three times as many veterans of that war committed suicide as were killed in combat there. If your child, parent, or other loved one were killed by one of our cluster bombs or developed leukemia from exposure to our depleted uranium munitions would you be so sanguinary?

No, Gutlessman - my friend was a highly decorated doorgunner, had his pic in Life magazine (ironically) as the doorgunner with the most combat missions. He was a star football player, a babe-magnet, and was a star salesman at a local Chevy dealer for awhile when he returned. I couldn't hang with him because he was living too fast, but he couldn't outrun his memories. You can demean me all you want, but don't you dare badmouth him, dipshyt. You're an ignorant, bloodthirsty fool, just like Bush.

Gutlessman:
Since you are devoid of conscience you will never understand his actions. You aren't worth the spit he used to shine his boots. What experience do you have of war to judge him, or to advocate war as you do so freely? The word "chickenhawk" was meant for your ilk.
