You can buy one at the front desk.

In its appeal, the Department contends the judge's order is imposing "new substantive requirements" for the detention of immigrant children that aren't laid out in the 1997 settlement.

During the hearing, Fabian said the agreement was vague about what is required to determine a facility is safe and sanitary.

Maybe the Red Cross could pony up some of this Humanitarian Aid.

So, we do have a crisis at our border.

Border at ‘Breaking Point’ as More Than 76,000 Unauthorized Migrants Cross in a Month

Congress should investigate this.

Give up some money for toothbrushes. Who buys the toothbrushes and with what funds.
What has Congress done, passed, or even attempted lately?

Just saying What has anyone done to help this situation?

The House keeps passing bills. The Senate won't pass any bills that originate in the House and won't allow a bill to get to the floor that implies that Drumpf isn't up to the job. It amounts to some 100 bills or so each month that Mitch McConnell won't even allow to go to committee or debate.

The lack of basic sanitation for children in federal custody has nothing to do with money. It's about cruelty and racism. The most powerful country on earth and one of the richest won't give children basic sanitation, basic medical care even when they're nearly dead. We passed dignity and justice and humanity a while back.

The reason that they're fleeing is that Drumpf cut off aid throughout Central and South America and the result is starvation and violence.

So, Drumpf creates a situation where people have to flee for their lives, vilifies refugees, reduces the number admitted to the country by ~80% and then claims that he can't shelter all of those he's trapped at the border, even while keeping the refugees in inhumane conditions and torturing them.

What's the end game?

I guess nobody has a racket set up to sell $600 toilet seats to immigration for concentration camps.

You know the answer: Power, and a steady stream of Others to vilify as dangerous to fuel the power.

... Just saying What has anyone done to help this situation?

Some of us voted for or otherwise helped elect an incompetent, racist buffoon but for some unknown reason it exacerbated this situation.

And today we're wondering how it happened, which explains why we weirdly assume toothbrushes are a funding problem for "Congress" to solve, and why toothbrushes are somehow seen as a thing that needs to be specifically identified as being included in basic hygiene. It might also explain why, for a manufactured problem, we think the Red Cross is "needed" to (do something something).

So in the meantime, making a dark joke about "buying" one "at the front desk" will show the seriousness we take this problem.

Finally an honest admission of your own culpability for providing a candidate so fundamentally corrupted and flawed, a candidate so despicable and despised, the country had no choice but to choose a failed reality TV personality instead, one who once elected further eliminated an entire range of civil liberty protections from the very few we have left.

This time, your poor judgement has impacted us all, deckeda...

Watching this clip literally made me physically ill.

This administration, Republicans, his supporters can now count among their many heinous accomplishments the footnote that they have managed to delegitimize Godwin’s Law.

There are few rubicon’s left for them to cross in their march towards full blown, unvarnished fascism. Death lacks only scale, brazenness is masked only by a tissue thin facade, intent may be just a leaked memo away.

LMAO.This time, it's your poor grasp of simple statistics that has floored us all, Max… (it's a big pic so those suffering from tunnel vision can more clearly focus on the numbers…) If one wants to discuss impacts, once again, it was a minority of yahoos who impacted the will of the voters by way of the Electoral College…

But those were the votes of illegals. The Voting Commission led by VP Pense and Kris Kobach proved that beyond any doubt.

Ah yes, the Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumber Commission.

Douglas Keith, the counsel in the Brennan Center's Democracy Program and co-author of the analysis, said, "President Trump has said repeatedly that millions of people voted illegally in 2016, but our interviews with local election administrators made clear that rampant noncitizen voting simply did not occur. Any claims to the contrary make their job harder and distract from progress toward needed improvements like automatic voter registration."

Surprisingly, even with all the voter suppression measures in place, Horrible Hillary still outpolled the meathead Trump. Unfortunately, it was where those voter suppression measures took place that ultimately may have turned the trick for Trump.
