Posting on this side, only because it's Rachel, MSNBC and just a little, itys-bitsy political.

Actual interview starts about 4+ minutes after history/introduction.

Look forward to watching that later.

Sen. Manchin has introduced a bill that would withhold funds for the 2026 Mens' World Cup, scheduled to take place in the US, until the pay issue for women players is resolved.
Unlikely to pass but a nice symbolic gesture. Conservatives have already framed it as "punishing the men's team" although the men's team favors equitable pay structures for women.

and of course the women are advocating for a collaborative, very reasonable approach, but you wouldn't know it from the media hysteria:

“We don’t want to have this huge, public, nasty fight, that’s not really in the best interest for anyone,” said Rapinoe, a U.S. co-captain. “We would much prefer to have a collaborative approach with FIFA, with the federation — how can we move this forward, how can we go to the next step, to create a world that is equal and fair for everyone?”

The "media" understands that because there's a lawsuit involved, the other side has dug in its heels. Collaboration implies rational behavior, which is out the window where cash in concerned.
