Whistleblowers typically submit proof so it shouldn't solely be a question of trust.

Hopefully it should not matter what party the whistleblower is. Someone with a lifetime of public service reporting either financial or political malfeasance.

Anyone who is credible is worthy of being believed. Deciding based on a label or affiliation is willfully deciding against truth.

Who's truth?

Trumpers and Republicans who support them have become adept at creating their own truth, sometimes often made up out of whole cloth.

Trumpers and current Republicans are a mix of lies and rationalizations. Belief systems not borne of realty. None of that can be truth.

As soon as someone comes forward with truth, that changes.

That you may understand has nothing at all to do with the FUD disassociated citizens have to wallow through.

FUD works like the aluminum scraps fighter planes once would use to confuse enemy radar. Technology outdated that tactic. The same technological advances that made yesterday's military FUD useless contributed to making today's political and sociological FUD workable and commonly available.

Concentration of media works for you when your intent is to circulate lies or confuse issues.

agree smiley

The question isn't whether we should listen to whistleblowers based on their politics; it's whether we're doing enough to make sure that when whistleblowers come forward, there's someone listening that they can trust to protect them and impartially investigate the evidence.
