I live in Gohmerts district. Older conservative lifelong Republicans middle to middle upper class college.

Texas closed polling places in districts with higher numbers of democrats. Some people waited more than 4 hours to vote. If you are given 4 hours to vote and it takes a half hour to get to the polls, are you going to risk your minimum wage job being an hour or two late back to work to vote?

Young people don't all have drivers licenses and their student ID's are not acceptable for voter ID. In many cases it is easier to get a gun license than a drivers license (yes, a gun license is an acceptable form of voter ID).

This year Bernie and Biden voters have to worry about catching COVID-19 from a voting machine. There are no diagnosed cases in Michigan but that might be because they don't have any tests available from the CDC to verify positive results.
