NEW YORK Jim Brady, the executive editor at washingtonpost.com, notified users of the
post.blog that the public comment feature had been suspended "indefinitely" after "a
E&P to reach Brady have been unsuccessful so far. It seems likely the move is related to
controversy in recent days over Sunday’s Post column by ombudsman Deobrah Howell. She
has been heavily criticized by some political Web sites and bloggers for writing that indicted
lobbyist Jack Abramoff gave money to both political parties,

Sounds like it wasn't a problem until the ombudsman upset dem readers who then responded
in the typical liberal MO.

So that's where DealMac blew it!

Instead of trying to make the site work the way they envisioned by editing and deleting content or banishing posters, they couldda' just shut down and saved all the trouble.

Brilliant!!!

Now that you mention it, I think I will have another bottle of Guinness, tanks.

At least one liberal paper trys occasionally to put out the
whole story. It may end up not losing readership.

Neither party wants the money spigot from special interests turned off, so we'll see a half-hearted attempt to outdo each other "reforming the system" but the system will remain in the control of those with money until we have publicly financed elections.

If you were to exercise restraint and not feel a need to post to every thread, you might gain an audience.

I don't feel that need (restraint) when I see you blindly posting positions that I might find valid. You, by the tactics you employ, undermine those who might agree with your positions.

Congratulations. You are the Furious Styles of the left!

Why you utilize tactics that work against you escapes me?

If you're addressing me, RgrF, it's not clear why. My post was germane to this thread, and if you can post here, so can I. This is only a more stimulating game than a fps to me, allowing me to hone my ideas, and my writing skills. I don't take it any more seriously than I do video games, and I advise you to do likewise.
