Nurses per 1,000 people. Likely an important reason Germany has far less death from COVID

So we need a lot more nurses. We already knew this but this pandemic may become the most tragic proof yet.

In looking at why Germany's death rate from COVID-19 is so much lower than the rest of the world, a leading theory is that they have so many more nurses than other countries. They have similar numbers of hospital beds and the disease has struck the same age demographic as the US and other European countries. Older Germans are also healthier on average than Americans as we know, and they tested much earlier and more aggressively there too.
