Translation: "I don't know what it is" But when he finds out we'll hear "a lot of people don't know this, but..."

What is the source of this report? The source would be nice to know and to follow up on, as this comment seems unlikely, even for the President.

Unfortunately it’s an easy thing to find the actual video quote.

it’s so disheartening to realize the leader of the free world cannot speak in complete sentences.

More evidence of verbal diarrhea, I think he exhibits duckspeak: [www.orwelltoday.com]

"Ultimately it was hoped to make articulate speech issue from the larynx without involving the higher brain centres at all."

Listening to him, I am honestly unsure whether it's just that he doesn't really understand, or that he's unaware of what he's saying.

I’d reconsider using orwelltoday as a source considering some of the stuff on that site:

Yes, I thought about that, but it was still the best reference to duckspeak that I could find. grinning smiley

As the Dunning-Kruger Effect is to intelligence, Trump has a damaged brain but doesn't realize it because he has a damaged brain. (Dunning-Kruger also applies to him.)

Yes. Very, very, very unlikely for a president.

However, for this president, a regular occurrence.

Therein lies the problem with duckspeak. Since it doesn't involve the higher brain centers at all, an intact brain is not required, and brain damage will have no effect on its production.
