Will the Dead Silent Republicans be quiet when the virus starts murdering their states?

Look, this virus is going to keep spreading across the U.S. as the weeks go on. When it reaches out and starts destroying societies and killing people in the Republican states, will their governors, Senators and Representatives finally object to Trump's insane behavior? Or will they just let them die so they can be re-elected while in fear of Trump's vengeance?

If this virus wiped out half the population, the MAGAts would be praising Trump for saving the other half.

Bozeman of Arkansas will. We never hear from him. He's just up there for the wine and cheese.

Sadly, I think no more than a few will speak up.

Indeed. Two months - Florida's Spring Break damage hasn't been felt.

I think I may need to stop looking at the internet and the news, completely.
I am serious.

Those Republican governors will blame someone else besides themselves and it won’t be Pres. Trump.

Wasn't Mike "Brownie" Pence selected to be the scapegoat weeks ago? Has 45 praised him for doing a heck of a job recently.

Missouri's Parsons is about 3 weeks late compared to fast acting governors. And St. Louis county (which includes the city) which took a book out of their heroic 1918 flu epidemic actions and did pretty much the same thing.

China. It's the Chinese virus. That works for people who think like that and plenty of Americans do. It's Trump v China and the invisible enemy they launched on us and hey he closed it early!! Nobody could have predicted this. Nobody has ever seen anything like this. Nobody could have been stronger against this invisible enemy.

Never mind that travelers from China, Europe and Iran and coming off cruise ships spread this all over the country starting in mid-January

Question I want to hear answered by Trump:
S Korea got their first case same time as US. They've had a few hundred deaths.
Best case scenario we will have 80K.
Why?

I think DeSantis from Florida is already giving this a trial run by blaming people coming from New York. He cannot really 'other' the Chinese as well as he can those foreigners from the North.

They can try going with "It Came From the Blue States" and that may play with some folks, particularly in the panhandle. In the rest of Florida a big percentage of the population are retired New Yorkers, so I'm not sure how that will go over.

Florida has already tied it's early cases to "people who had traveled outside the country." Their first case was March 1, third state in the country to report a case, but local beaches were not closed as we know and bars were not closed until March 17.

Note that "progressive" states are the ones that quickly moved to settle people in place to try to avoid the intermingling that has created hotspots. Remains to be seen how the more "rustic" states will fare.

April showers will definitely result in lots of blooms come May…
