These people are insane!

Sen. Cotton: Medical, pharma companies must be on guard against 'Chinese espionage' looking to steal coronavirus treatment

Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., a regular critic of China's handling and potential cover-up of the origin of the coronavirus pandemic, is now warning that the Asian nation may be using espionage to steal technology to be used for treating or curing the illness.

This is going to be their excuse when the Chinese and pretty much every European nation has a useful vaccine ahead of us and produces it in massive quantities while we flounder.

The United States is months behind the rest of the world in developing treatments and vaccines.

After we threaten and bluster, the federal government will quietly spend billions buying vaccines from other nations and will let most of it go to waste before any is distributed to the public.

Because they are incompetent and corrupt from the top down.

Cotton is a pandering idiot. Guy’s willing to sell his soul to the devil in exchange for power. Seems to be in marked contrast to the rest of the Arkansas contingent (and it’s not as if they’re all ok either). Friends that went to high school with him say he’s a closet homosexual. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit. Seems the worst nutjobs have the most to hide.

On top of this, the idiot Cotton remains silent about Trump’s own mishandling of the situation. No criticism of Trump calling the situation a hoax and other stupidities.

I hope there are researchers doing follow-up interviewing and analysis of those who believe Cotton. This information will be useful in the future as we analyze what went wrong in America during the 1990's -2020's.

I think this is the single biggest problem with response to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. It is all mercenary medicine. With this administration "leading" the country, every company wants to be guaranteed a massive profit before start to pitch in.
