Republican Voters Against Trump project - 2016 Trump voters voicing their displeasure

I just assumed that this was the Lincoln Project...

"These are Republicans, former Republicans, conservatives, and former Trump voters who can’t support Trump for president this fall."

“I’d vote for a tuna fish sandwich before I’d vote for Donald Trump again.”

These are short videos. Don't forget that WE are not the target - these are conservatives talking to other conservatives. They say lots of stuff that we dems won't like, but they all (we all) have one thing in common - the opinion that Trump is a horrible human being and that he shouldn't be president.

That means voting for Biden (even if you vote the repub ticket all the way down for the rest of the ballot.)

A landslide for Uncle Joe - even if he is a'movin' kinda slow – would send a message that needs to be sent right now. However, what's happening right now with all of the social unrest and extremists making noise might just be the kind of thing that sets off a series of one-term presidents (which is pretty much just what happened before the Civil War…). Lincoln broke that string, but it also ended in the kind of devastation that would be hard to come back from now.

This is a start but a long way from providing a solution.

Until white males over the age of 35 start to adjust the way they think and how they see the world, it's going to be an uphill struggle to undo the nativist/nationalistic underpinnings that allow the sort of movement that leads to a Trump presidency to be marginalized and seen as it should be seen - as an outlier.

That's what's sad, in the past 4-12 years, the reactionary right-wing white male went from being a boomer to a millennial. So much for the younger generation changing the world. What's frightening is that the reactionary white male will be joined by Gen Z as they fall into the underclass due to high student debt loads and limited to no job prospects.

The right-wing reactionary propaganda media machine needs to be broken before any positive change will happen.
