And yet Chicago/Cook Co has such strict gun control laws. Same with NYC.

And it's within hours of places that give guns away as premiums for a gas fill up.
Your reasoning is seriously flawed.

Gee Steve G. Exactly WHERE can I get a FREE gun with a gas fill up?

Oh, that's right; NO WHERE (at least in the U.S.).

Just more pathetic gun lies by Liberals.

You know, like 90% of the stuff Trump says (except he would not accept that any of his statements are hyperbole - except on rare occasions that he says he was just joking).

Well, Chicago is just a few minutes drive from the Indiana state line. A serious gun buyer could drive over to Missouri, or perhaps Iowa or even Wisconsin.

You apparently know nothing about out of state firearms sales and Federal law.

The people causing trouble are the criminals.

If it truly was the will of the supermajority of the population, the 2nd Amendment would be gone. Instead we have this goofy patchwork of laws that vary by city, county and state. And many states that have the say for the whole state, have cities trying to circumvent their state's Constitutions. It truly is a shitshow.

King, Pierce and Snohomish County control all of Washington State. And Seattle is trying to control King County.

You acknowledge that there is a patchwork of laws but always seem to come back to asserting gun control laws don't work because - just look at Chicago or New York you say. Places surrounded by states with less stringent gun statutes.

Gun control works in Great Britain, Canada and Europe because laws are universal. People there still have hunting rifles and other armaments, they just don't fetichize them.

Laws don't work here in the US for the most part, because criminals don't care about them, and they know they won't get into much trouble anyway. This goes for most laws. Locks only keep the honest honest for example.

Many locations are seeing a rise in speeding, and especially here around Seattle. The techies just pay the tickets because they can without any real financial hurt.

How about when you commit 3 felonies you REALLY are out? That's what we asked for. Armed robbery (means with a weapon), and with a firearm, and if you pistol whip the store owner, that's assault with a deadly weapon, and armed robbery with a firearm That's 3. You are done. End of story.

The laws aren't the problem. Its everything after the bracelets go on the perp.

Believe it or not Canada has criminals too, as does Britain and Europe. US laws don't work because they are not universal.

No, they aren't fully prosecuted, and sentences aren't fully served.
