You betcha. US ! Expect Medicare rates to go up up up and SSI deductions to increase geometrically.

And pay will NOT increase by the same amount, I double dog guarantee.

Trump: Death to the Senior Citizens !
Aide: Uh. Mr. President ? That's you too.
Trump: I am above all that. I'm special, everyone knows that.

Remember, Congress, Reps and the Pres get healthcare for life after just 1 day of work.

Posted in the thread below, but worth repeating --

Trumps payroll cut added to the unemployment caused reduced deposits (assuming no return to pre-pandemic levels before the end of 2021) means the Medicare trust runs out in 2023 and the Social Security trust is gone in 2029 (causing a 31% reduction in benefits).

Every dollar of debt inspires republicans that much more to eliminate Medicare and SS. And it's all part of the plan.

At some point he will start saying that his COVID-19 response has been saving SS and Medicare lots of money in benefits that they won't need to pay out. And that he's not getting enough credit for doing that.

The tax is only being deferred. It will have to be repaid retroactively beginning Jan. 1, 2021.
