No but you can throw it away on a delusion. wink smiley

The SD guv says (without irony):

Quote

"We're excited for visitors to see what our great state has to offer!" tweeted Kristi Noem, a Republican and strong Trump supporter.

Oh, I’m sure they’ll be okay. I mean, look at all those masks-

Oh geez, they’re we’re screwed.

Didn't see any wearing helmets either. Prevention doesn't seem to be their cup of tea.

I want MN to lock the state border to anyone from Sturgis. I do not even want them to stop and get gas as they drive through.

Grand Rapids will be another gathering spot. Only 30 miles away and on the road to travel hiways.

Not much in their skulls to protect.

Round up that herd and corral them. Grass fed.

Helmets (and masks) are for sissies and girly-men, not for macho, manly-men.

Unlike masks, helmets only protect the wearer.

directly. But indirectly, how much do we all get to chip in for medical through insurance rate hikes and raised taxes for emergency services?

As a kid, I watched a biker take a turn wide in front of my house. Didn't realize that there was a bus parked at the curb. Slid on his ass for about 100 feet. Had a beer bottle stuffed in the small of his back. Red smear for about 30 yards. Ass turned to hamburger, and his brain was scrambled when it hit the curb. Would have likely survived if he was wearing a helmet.

One of my neighbors was sledding, and slid into the curb. Died from brain damage. No helmets back then for kids.

Should be interesting since the pictured event was indoors.

Saint Cloud, Minnesota, where the weather is wonderful even when it isn't.

Sadly, that basically sums it the situation perfectly. Trying to reason with people trapped in that mindset is fundamentally fruitless.
