We know Democrats won't take Nov. 1 Trump Vaccine. But will Trump voters?

Some will say, "Why take a vaccine for a hoax?" Some will be anti-vaxxers. Some will say their rights are being infringed on.

Nor will it exist for anyone to take Nov 1

All they want is to SAY they created a vaccine.

Personally, I’m inclined to wait for the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine. That’s the one that arose out of a more conventional approach.

All those Trump folks can act as the rest of the phase 3 with the Moderna RNA vaccine.

If there's an emergency authorization, it won't be for common people. Not even first responders and medical personnel, tho they'll talk about having it ready for first-responders.

They'll make 10 doses, do a photo-op with some ordinary-looking people and then it will be "in short-supply while manufacturing ramps up" for six months while they do the phase III trial.

...And if Drumpf gets re-elected then when it turns out that the placebo was better, they'll sneak in some of the Chinese vaccine and pretend it's American.

Reality check.

Dr. Moncef Slaoui told NPR today that it was extremely unlikely that a vaccine would be ready by the beginning of November. He's in charge of Trump's "Operation Warp Speed" which is in charge of getting a COVID vaccine to Americans.

He said they won't submit an application for emergency approval before all the trials are completed and satisfactory. He says it's fine to be getting ready this fall tho.

He's looking at the middle of 2021 when vaccine will be widely available to Americans. Which is still incredibly fast. (This assumes the vaccines in development now actually work).

He said not everybody on their team is supportive of this administration politically.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. There's reality, and then there's Trumpland.

In Trumpland, it doesn't matter what the truth is. It doesn't matter what the doctors or scientists say. All that matters is appearances.

Trump can announce on Nov. 1 that he has an approved vaccine. Doesn't matter if the vaccine is safe or effective or even if it's really been approved. All he has to do is announce it. Merely the announcement of it that close to the election will be enough to create the desired chaos and throw the election into jeopardy.
