Trump: Master of The Shiny Thing “ plans to “negotiate” to run again in 2024”

Forbes

“During a rally in Minden, Nevada, Trump predicted he would win reelection and carry Nevada, a state he lost narrowly in 2016.

“After that,” Trump said, “we’ll negotiate,” asserting that he’s “probably entitled to another four after that” based on “the way we were treated.”

He can legally run again in 2024 if he wants to.

As the challenger to President Biden.

Wonder which GOP leader this rally will kill. (RIP Herman). And how many staffers and Secret Service agents will get infected.

Seriously, the Governor should sue him for violating their state's regulations and putting thousands at risk. Enough of this @#$%&.

"Three months after his last big indoor rally in Tulsa, after which numerous campaign staffers and Secret Service agents tested positive for COVID-19 and the area saw a surge in cases, Donald Trump hosted an encore.

On Sunday night, the president spoke at an indoor rally in Henderson, Nevada, violating the state’s social-distancing regulations in the process. The New York Times reports that thousands of Trump supporters were crowded onto the factory floor of the Xtreme Manufacturing plant without attempts to social distance, many not wearing masks, in a state that forbids indoor gatherings of 50 people or more.

Nevada’s democratic governor, Steve Sisolak, condemned the President’s actions in a series of tweets on Sunday, writing that Trump was “reckless and selfish” in disregarding the state’s social-distancing guidance and “putting countless lives in danger here in Nevada.” Sisolak added, “He came into our State and blatantly disregarded the emergency directives and tough choices made to fight this pandemic and begin reopening our economy by hosting an indoor gathering that’s categorized as ‘high risk’ according to his own CDC.”

He's been saying this awhile, once he learned that Xi and Putin were now Tyrants for Life.

Will he campaign from prison?

I wouldn't put it past these GOP primary voters to nominate him again in 2024.

Nothing in the Constitution says felons can't serve as president, even from a cell.

He will not serve time in prison, even if convicted. And, he will never care to be president again, once he moves to Russia, and can buy some "fun."

Really, we all know he says anything at these rallies, and he is not the healthiest of individuals, making anything in a few years' time rather suspect. However, I do realize that his supporters may not care if he's dead when he campaigns again, as long as they can go to his rallies. Jesus Christ is dead and still has a following.

Trump 4024?

Dear Jesus, please save me from your followers. More specifically, Trump's.

Going for a third term would be a violation of the 22nd Amendment, so it would take this to change it:

The Constitution's Article V requires that an amendment be proposed by two-thirds of the House and Senate, or by a constitutional convention called for by two-thirds of the state legislatures. It is up to the states to approve a new amendment, with three-quarters of the states voting to ratifying it.

I could see his followers thinking that during his second term he could get the above done. So even as far-fetched and ridiculous as this sounds to most people, that crowd eats it up because emotionally they need their Leader to win and be omnipotent (while also a victim, they need him to be that too).

An armed forces coup like Lukashenko has been using is the only way he could extend his reign past 8 years.

If they can't pass the Equal Rights Amendment, they'd better not pass a repeal of the 22nd amendment for the sake of Donald J. Trump.

Trump has tried to negotiate the purchase of Greenland, and has considered negotiating a trade of Puerto Rico for Greenland.
The master of the Art of the Deal believes he can negotiate anything.
For the reason to negotiate a third term to be "they were mean to me" just takes away any illusion that this man is anything but a man who lacks the emotional maturity to be in a position of power.

I thought he was against "entitlements" these days, like Social Security, for example.

I guess he can wait in line until after Obama gets 8 years to do over for "the way he was treated" by all of the birthers.
