any word on covid in the military?

I haven't heard much. I doubt they're saying much but I'd expect a few words to leak out now and then.

As of Sep 14th, there have been 41,623 cases in the military and 7 deaths.

14 day quarantine for my kid and everyone else they know when assigned to a new duty station.

Yep ... new recruits spend 14 days quarantine in an off base hotel before they are allowed on base.

Keep in mind the people the VA system treats ARE disproportionately old people with preexisting disabilities*; the quintessential “at risk” population.

*Usually a service-connected disability must exist to qualify for VA medical services.
