oTTo and I don't much like each other. Once in a while he uses his talents to condense a thought. He's done that with this and it should be disseminated far and wide. (unlike hissownself will be)

from the AppleSwitcher Forum:

"This is in response to the audio tape Osama just broadcast. Cheney says that because there's no video, Bin Laden in "on the run".

What exactly does that mean?

For a few hundred thousand dollars, Bin Laden knocked down the WTC (a direct attack on US soil), caused the USA to spend close to a trillion dollars in war expenses so far, got us into some reckless wars, and turned most of the world against us.

His actions galvanized and spurred millions of Muslim radicals into action and emboldened Iran to quickly develop nukes.

He also succeeded in rapidly pushing the USA closer to an Orwellian State. Thousands of American citizens and soldiers have been killed. Bombs and guerilla fighters pour into Iraq by the hundreds of thousands and blend into the population.

Yet, he can do as he pleases and deliver taunting tapes to Arab media at will.

He is really on the run, I'd say."

No, but he speaks. A lot. And looks up and smiles at whatever is above him.

Is it just me, or does he almost look like Letterman?

RgrF - You pm'd me asking if I knew who you are and what you stand for. I confirmed my ignorance, and am still waiting for an answer. If your intent is to drag a feud you have on another forum with a pseudonym then all I can do is shake my head in dismay. Why not take him on over there if he's truly worth your time and focus?

Iran didn't quickly develop nukes. They have been building for a long time, but were prevented from making practical applications by their enemies. Iran is no longer sacrificing their peoples or economy to a holy war, so their focus is again on atomic power, which they have already had a 30 year head start.

No quick developmenmt here, been there for some time.

I hope the rest of your statements were not as quickly developed.
