Trump is going to go ape on Iran, and then in the same breath (wheeze?) say the intelligence was wrong on Russia.

It's panic time for the Trump campaign. The lead speaker - the Director of National Intelligence - has been fully politicized and since Barr won't - he'd arrest Biden if he could. Since he can't he'll slant the info to look like Trump is the victim.

There need to be trials after the change of administration -- trials that insure no future megalomaniac can ever again pervert the organs of government like this megalomaniac has.

Yes I'm having bad deju view of James Comey and the Clinton emails in October.

The President shouldn't have "allies" in the FBI. Just professionals.

Isn't a lot of this "Voter Data" public information? At least that's what I was told when I asked a campaign that texted me how they got my cell phone number (they used my first name in the text too, so it was "robo texting").

The Dickensianly-named John Ratcliffe

“Director of National Intelligence in the Trump administration. He previously served as the Representative for Texas's 4th district from 2015 to 2020. During his time in Congress, Ratcliffe was regarded as one of the most conservative members.”
“President Donald Trump announced on July 28, 2019, that he intended to nominate Ratcliffe to replace Dan Coats as Director of National Intelligence. Ratcliffe withdrew after Republican senators raised concerns about him, former intelligence officials said he might politicize intelligence, and media revealed Ratcliffe's embellishments regarding his prosecutorial experience in terrorism and immigration cases.”

Read all about him, if you can stomach it...

Trump sides with Russia against FBI at Helsinki summit
16 July 2018

US President Donald Trump has defended Russia over claims of interference in the 2016 presidential election.

After face-to-face talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Mr Trump contradicted US intelligence agencies and said there had been no reason for Russia to meddle in the vote.

Mr Putin reiterated that Russia had never interfered in US affairs.

The two men held nearly two hours of closed-door talks in the Finnish capital Helsinki on Monday.

At a news conference after the summit, President Trump was asked if he believed his own intelligence agencies or the Russian president when it came to the allegations of meddling in the elections.

"President Putin says it's not Russia. I don't see any reason why it would be," he replied.

Anybody heard Trump criticizing Putin for the attempted poisoning murder of Alexei Navalny?
Not a whisper.
