12,670 vote difference, which is about 0.25% of all votes cast.

Ok.
Now, Dump can ask for a third count, if he chooses to, and you know he will.
This one would be done by machine and will do nothing but waste time and money. RollingEyesSmiley5

Georgia isn't blue, Georgia doesn't like Trump, but not by a lot!

Can you offer some evidence for this claim? You keep repeating it, but I don't think it's supported by the numbers.

This fivethirtyeight article offers some analysis, and anti-Trump sentiment was part of the story, but hardly explanatory on its own. I think the truth is, we don't yet know if GA is blue. It really depends on turnout in the cities, most especially Atlanta metro.

Georgia is still more red than blue in general. There's work to be done for sure.

i absolutely believe this. Enough GA voters were fed up with 45 but the down ballot races bleed red. That's why this senate run-off is not going to be a cake walk for democrats. Energized democrats need to show up by 1/5/2021 because generally republicans do better in run-offs and right now they are wounded and pissed.

Check the downline vote and tell me that Georgia has turned blue. This is a silly argument since we'll know the answer for sure in January.

In the meantime Georgia 17 year-olds who'll be 18 by election time ought to be a prime target, sorta' like the AWOL 25,000 GOP voters will be for them.

I never said Georgia was blue. Nobody in this thread said that.

vision63 said it's "more Blue," which it certainly is. It's a purple state, and very divided. The down ballot vote was very very purple, which is the only reason we're having two runoffs in January.

If we could get a virtual clone of Rep Sanford Bishop GA-2 to run in GA-1, (Savannah/Brunswick etc) I think we could flip/upset dumbass Buddy Carter. The wrong candidate keeps running against him. Bishop is a master of walking that fine line in a potentially conservative district.

My expectation is the runoffs won't have quite as many T***** supporters voting but it also means there won't be as many people voting just to vote against him. T***** and Perdue got within 2000 votes of each other. It really depends on if the same number of Dems vote in the runoff, and if the 115,000 Libertarians turn out for one or the other.
