Loved ones never age, in our hearts

That spouse or ex that you know, will never change in your mind's eye. No matter if you grow old with them, divorce them, or hate them, you'll always reference the image of that 'first impression'.
Yes, your ways of dealing with them in the present will change, but if you ever loved them in your life, you will first recall them as you knew them then, not now.

They say that inside we're the same age always.

If that is so, why does @#$%& sell so well?

Well spoken jeffB. Returning to HeyDude's original statement, it always discourages me to attend reunions, as all my friends have gotten so old-looking. Thank God the face I see in the mirror hasn't changed with the years.

Don't go bad mouthing my little blue diamonds. Nothin' wrong with a little plumbin' help when it's needed.

And as for That spouse or ex that you know, will never change in your mind's eye.......

...... your mind's eye may need corrective lenses after 35 years.

expand upon that disagreement.

My first memory of a person is always as i initialy met them. Then, a split-second later, reality catches up.
