I want to join the denial forces as it's too depressing to contemplate. Who'll sponsor me?

Global warming is bunk.

Have you ever seen global warming spring out of a jar of peanut butter?

I didn't think so.

I live in a Republican voting enclave of LA. Chatsworth not only votes GOP but also is home to production of most of the porn produced in the USA.

The local library scheduled a showing of the Gore(y) flick for April 9th with an intro and Q & A from a disciple of Mr. Gore. Word got out and the showing was suddenly canceled. No future date announced. Seems the local Republican Councilman objected.

Nice huh?

Carbon Offsets = Scam.

just another way for the commodity trading weasles to make a buck from everyone's pain. You want to reverse it ? Massive structural changes in lifestyle. Population controls, etc.

Let's face it- the only way to stop it is for everyone to stop acting like little spoiled kids and working together. yeah, like that's gonna happen.

I live 600+ feet above MSL, and we have winter. I'm gonna enjoy a warmer climate without having to move when I retire. Muhahaha.

The recent claims of climate change are all BS.

There is no proof that the climate or the planet is in any way shape or form getting worse.

In fact, there is evidence everywhere that the planet is getting progressively better and better every day since man has roamed the earth.

Drinking water is plentiful and becoming easier to find, air quality has done nothing but improve and food supplies have become more plentiful, nutritious and easier to get.

Seriously, when was the last time you ever heard of a beach closing or smog warning or a need to boil water for safe drinking?

it's not like there has ever been a river that caught on fire or anything

Really folks, you need to get off of your pathetic little "the planet is getting worse" trip.

Strength without compassion is brutality. Compassion without strength is weakness.

We must train our minds to desire what the situation demands.

Dittoe. And I have been told by my religious friends that God has this planet on auto-pilot anyway. Let her clean it up.
