I want Tom Delay, the leftists wanted him out because he was
a conservative rock, and very effective. This guy is just not
The Hammer. We need to bring back Tom.

We all love Tommy, but Rove thought it was better to upgrade now .... before the whole trial thing ...

No hard feelings. He'll pull himself up by his bootstraps and be a lobbying in no time ... just like Trent.

Boehner's a good choice. I wish him the best.

Boehner was one of the 'gang of seven' that uncovered the
check kiting scandal in the House years ago. The Democrats
tried to bury it but the seven refused to let the scandal
die and it uncovered consderably more unethical behavior.
The Credit Union rules were changed because of it and the
game ended. IMO, that speaks welll for him. Some people
will never be satisfied with anyone who is picked.

Taint? That's a stench, and you're never going to get it out of the rug.

"In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion." (1987) -- Carl Sagan

He seems to have a similar setup as DeLay.

Only time will reveal all eventually.
