I saw Good Morning America's coverage of this today. A representative from the NYC Hotel's Association was interviewed about it. He sated that the VP's list is just a REQUEST and that it was very mild compared to that of most celebrities and other politicians.

Dick Cheney is a wealthy man in his own right (Oh, no!! Wealth!! Evil, evil!!!). If he were not
a public figure and traveling on his own I wouldn't be surprised if he would have similar
requirements.

And I sure Ol' BJ and AlGore never had a list of requirements issued when they traveled,
did they?

I would give Cheney my years salary in Red Bull if I he would consume it in a week, hell, even in a month!

So when they take the polls that give Dick a < 20% rating, are the numbers inflated by multiple Shakeman sock puppet respondents?

You might want to put a lot of daylight between your phone number and that number if you do call, route it through Lagos by way of Taipeii by way of Ulan Bator and maybe Howard Deans office or something like that.

Even then they'll hunt you down like the dog you are, probably kennel you at one of those new interment camps they're building.

I called using a cell phne that was left behind at the Starbucks next to my office.

I also wiped the phone and left it there just to be safe.

Someone is going to be surprised.

I am also going to leave that number for a call back whenever the situation demands it.

This is such crap! Cheney's "demands" are little more than
codified reasonable expectations. Have you ever seen the
demands of Barbra Steisand, or Pigman Michael Moore, or other
leftist dim bulbs?

No, we wouldn't want his hands to get caffine shake when he goes Quail hunting.

An unattended cell phone "near your office" you say? You're screwed. That's probable cause for a search of everything and anyone within a six block radius these days.

If that doesn't flush you out, they'll start taking hostages until someone rats you.

You're finished Haole.

"All lights turned on" "Extra lamps" -- WTF?

Cheney is afraid of his shadow? Or do you think he might have some kind of retinal degeneration?

"All TVs tuned to Fox News" That's just too funny.

And why do you suppose the crossed out the bottled water?

You'd think someone as familiar with the Prince of Darkness wouldn't be afraid of the dark

Macular degeneration might explain the hunting accident, too.

Fox News has to be monitored to ensure it stays true to the official propaganda line. Occasionally they slip up and say something true.

They've found benzene in bottled water. Cheney's got enough in his blood from sucking up to Big Oil already.

LOL, I really found a cell phone at Starbucks, but I turned it in to the cashier. But I was thinking about it the whole time.

The administration has me in their clutches as I could only think that nothing good would come from dialing that number!
