Iraqis have secured Baghdad with magic wands

Apparently some company in the UK markets a device that "can find guns, ammunition, drugs, truffles, human bodies and even contraband ivory at distances up to a kilometer, underground, through walls, underwater or even from airplanes three miles high."

Truffles? Mon dieu!

Anyway, Iraqi authorities seem to think these things work as advertised. They claim that the device, and not the surge, was responsible for the decline in insurgent attacks.

The little cardboard card with the words RECTAL EXAM on it might have had a litle bit to do with insurgents staying away.
