xx,000th 'day' birthday
Posted by: SteveJobs

Today is my xx,000th day birthday.

That is, I'm xx,000 days old.

Anyone else like to keep track of age in days?

(xx is for privacy. I'm sure it converts to 29 or 39 or whatever in years! smiling smiley )

I used to have 11 year old kids in math class figure out how old they'd be when they had lived their billionth second. Since calculators cash out at a certain number of digits, it required good old pencil and paper planning, and an understanding of leap years. Multiplication became much more fun once we gave up those Roman Numerals.

And not being shy about my youthfulness, I believe that as of Midnight May 4 (counting through May 3), I was 1,744,675,200 seconds old. I'm betting it would be slightly more burdensome to work backwards from that to my DOB than it was for me to work forward. Remembering those leap years, of course smiling smiley

That would have taken all the fun out of it. I'm glad I wore down two pencils smiling smiley
