Hmm. In Mac OS X, I can't get this to work well. But in Windows, right-click, full-screen works great. How does one full-screen the Mac?

So, did anyone get that video to work on a Mac. I could not . Can someone extract the file location in order to open directly with WMP?

I like the one comment on the onegoodmove link:

These comments are so predictable. Colbert, automatically funny; Bush, automatically not. It was well written self-depreciating humour.

His misspelling is quite accurate given the slump in approval ratings.

Depends on one's point of view of course.

On the one hand you guys complain about him not having a sense of humor. Then, this video shows he does have a good one. Just not the way you want him to admit all the things you think about him. Very hypocritical.

mick e thought the bit rather humorous actually. Although his laughs didn't always fall on the punchlines

A president should have a sense of humor about himself. But it can be a little disconcerting to witness him engaging in court jester-like self-mockery.

Rowdy -- the bit with the Bush impersonator was well written, but the President was the straight man (which is why we hate him, of course). The jokes were all told by the comedian, Bush was just there for punctuation. You can see Bush reading along in the script, looking for his line. Bush gets points for going along with the gag, but the concept was weak and not very well executed.

It was in better taste than the "bit" he did at the 2004 dinner

but having the impersonator comment on the "hotness" off the first lady was just creepy.

And he is the President of the United States, for fscksake; he should be able to get through a debate without a receiver strapped to his back, and he should be able to tell a joke without using a stunt double.

I think we can all agree that various parts of BOTH performances/acts treaded on delicate areas.

It's all in the eyes of the beholder. But, NO ONE can say that BUSH did not or does not at least TRY to make fun of himself in that second clip, IMO. It shows he is very aware of what some people's attitudes towards him are, that's for sure.

Let's hope once JEB Bush takes office, he'll be more entertaining. smiling smiley smiling smiley

Like Sherlock Holmes Smarter Brother Jeb is actually quite a bit more intelligent than his brother (but then who isn't).

The upside is that the end of this Presidency brings with it the end of the Bush dynasty. If ever another Bush is elected to national office, it'll be generations from now.

They're legacy degrees Rowdy, not the same as actually earning them or being on the Law Review.
