For the first time, I'd have to agree with him. That is about the most positive thing I can think of that has happened under his tenure.

"In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion." (1987) -- Carl Sagan

I wonder what Cheney's response would be?

Shooting a man in the face. Just to see his reaction.

That would be my guess.

I'd have thought Saddam's pistol would be there somewhere in the top 3.

Certainly overthrowing any government has to be a thrill. It will certainly be mine
when I finally topple this one and become Dictator of the United States.

No doubt the press would have drooled with pleasure if Clinton had answered with his typical
BS....tear in the eye, lip bite, as he reeled off some practiced story about a homeless black girl
he met once or some such crap.

that man even lies about his fish. What a pathetic looser. [www.outdoorcentral.com]

"Worldwide, Deer’s fish places behind a 4 pound, 3 ounce perch caught in New Jersey in 1865; a 3 pound, 12 ounce perch caught in Michigan in 1947; and a 3 pound, 8 ounce perch caught in New York in 1982. All records are for the fresh water division. "

so the high point of his career is a lie. nice.

unless he caught a bass, and was mistaken. then he is just a moron.

but I must give my wife credit. She knows nothing about fishing, except that perch are way smaller than that, and she found the stats and let me know his greatest "accomplishment" is a sham.

7 1/2 lb bass are very hard to come by. Most bass fisherman
don't catch one that large in their lifetime. W knows what's
important.

The AP report said: "I would say the best moment was when I caught a 7 1/2-pound largemouth bass on my lake," Bush said, laughing. [apnews.myway.com]

Two points: 1. he was joking, and 2. it seems likely that "bass" became "perch" in the Reuters piece from the translation from English ("bass") to German ("barsch") and back to English ("perch").

"The German term Barsch can refer to either bass, perch or pike..." [german.about.com]

Why can't I stop laughing at the sheer idiocy of it all?

Wait, it's to keep me from crying at the sheer idiocy of it all. No, wait, here it comes. Maybe I can find a happy place, like a ranch in Crawford, TX where I can ignore all the pressing issues in the world that I need to address intelligently...

He's admitting that nothing much that's good for the nation has happened during his one-and-a-half terms, so at least he is telling the truth just this once.

What the hell does Clinton have to do with this? Clinton didn't reel off some story about a homeless black girl, d#%@#$%&, now, did he? This is a story about a d#@*ass "president" and his d#%*ass story about a fish. Not Clinton.

Morons need understanding not contempt. After all is it their fault they are stupid? "liberal weenie" a/k/a Shakeman a/k/a (other nicks too numerous to mention) is genuinely brain damaged and doesn't merit the time or pixels wasted responding to his racist, hateful political drivel.

The President that is fixin to give Amnesty to 20 Million Illegal Mexican Aliens ?

The same President that turned his back on the very Folks that put him in the White House.

The same President , and Congress I may add , that let Big Oil merge into a Conglomerate ?

The same President that keeps awarding contracts to Halliburton ?

The same President that was going to give the Arabs their own American Sea Port.

Is that the President you are talking about ?

The implication is that this is a bad thing, but what it shows is that he just doesn't take himself
too seriously. libs could learn from that...

Shakeman is a delusional roofer from California who once traveled to Mexico, sponged off a bunch of families by living with them, eating their food, learning all about their culture and language.

Then, when he returned, he lost his mind when he realized that a number of immigrants were in the same business as he was, and were bidding on the same projects. He then decided that he would now hate them and become a tightass republican. His method of countering this great threat was to go onto some mac chat forums and drone on with alarmist drivel at such great lengths that he would make Jim Sensenbrenner look like a mime.

Since he has been called out by forum members, (and banned by at least one site) his solution has been to create DOZENS of different accounts in hopes that it might appear that there are well, DOZENS who share his warped, paranoid viewpoints.

From 1971 to 1982 union roofer (shingler) and a left wing union nut case, pot smoking marxists. In 1980 joined the Republican party and quit the pot, in 1985 a exorcism, 1983 started my own roofing business I do a lot of heavy shake re-roofs hence the name Shakeman.

How about a president who takes his job seriously? This guy was put in to get tax cuts and reduce regulations. He did that, so, ever since, he's been farting off. In his daily stump speeches, he still rails about making the tax cuts permanent.

Even if he is a happy-go-lucky guy, he should have had enough sense to know that the other presidents' answers to that question would make his answer look stupid.

What an idiot, as are his supporters.
