Road or river? Salmon swim across flooded road
By KATU.com Staff Published: Nov 22, 2011 at 1:32 PM PST

MASON COUNTY, Wash. - Forget swimming up stream, these salmon are swimming up street.

Several intrepid salmon tried to swim across a flooded road in Mason County, Wash on Tuesday morning.

Watch the video
Skokomish Valley Road flooded during heavy rain on Tuesday morning. The road is near Shelton, Wash. in the southern Puget Sound area.

Washington was pounded by the same storm that dumped more than two inches of rain on Oregon. Forecasters predict Tuesday and Wednesday could be the wettest two days Western Washington has seen in nearly four years.

I loves me some Wild Salmon *(:>*

Every time the Seattle news stations want to scare us all about "MAJOR FLOODING" . They send a crew down to that spot and show a Salmon swimming across the road even if there is no other flooding anywhere else in Western Washington
