Questionable CL listing?

The poster claims this is a "15" Macbook Pro, 2.66Ghz Core i7, 8GB RAM, 500GB, HiRes+Matte LCD ", and that "This Macbook Pro is less than 2 years old".

But did any of the 15" MacBook Pros selling new two years ago have the silver bezel around the screen as seen in the poster's images?

Wasn't the last 15" MacBook Pro with a silver bezel discontinued back in October of 2008?

And were there ever ANY Intel i7 MacBook Pros with a silver bezel?

I think either the pictures are bogus or the entire listing is. Am I missing something?

Here's the listing:

The Matte finish screens had the silver bezel.

Already flagged for removal

Yep, you can still get the silver bezel on even the newest MBP's w/ the anti-glare screen... and, as you can maybe almost see, the unibodies don't have the little clippy things that the pre-unibody MBP's had. I don't understand why it was flagged for removal, it was a mid 2010 model that was in production thru early 2011; maybe the type of sale was a scam, but the description was legit.

looks like my late 2011 15" anti-glare high-resolution MBP.

BTW, don't think I can call it high resolution anymore. That would be retina these days

hi-res is hi-res
retina is retina, aka higher-res
