iOS Twitter app question

is there any way to block or hide tweets from those you don't follow?

like McDonald's ads and political crap?

i'm ready to delete it, and i only follow half-a-dozen people!

some call them 'promoted tweets' - i call them annoying.

I use the Twitteriffic app and I generally don't get those spam tweets. The app is free and I like it better than the real Twitter app.

Thanks.

I had been using Tweetdeck (also free) and never saw ads.

Decided to try the official app.

Not sure how I feel about the name Twitteriffic... ;/

Yeah, well, what's in a name and all, but it is pretty bad. smiling smiley

The interface is better, IMHO, than the real Twitter app. I don't really like the real Twitter app very much at all.
