Beat me to it.

Good album, but fair warning, it wasn't recorded and/or mastered very well. Lots of audio mush in the midrange, unfortunately. Certainly rocks though, it's the heaviest album Rush has put out in nearly 20 years.

The last Rush album I bought was Moving Pictures. I couldn't stand that keyboard stuff they were doing in the 80's. Maybe I'll take another look at them.

Don't think so. Amazon does this from time to time (with the "encouragement" of the record companies) to boost sales of particular albums. Gimmick to kick the album back into the top 10 and send it over the Gold level for total sales...

Thanks, just picked it up along with the Amazon Cloud Player for iPad. I am really liking Amazon's music services, maybe more so than iTunes at this point.

Just grabbed their Instant Video app for iPad as well and will be checking that out next.

Since when did Amazon become restrictive? Even though I have the Amazon Downloader, I had to redownload the Downloader, and now it's asking me to authorize my device. One of the reasons (besides cheaper prices) that I like Amazon for music is that I haven't had to jump through hoops (short of needing a downloader) in order to play my purchased music.

I had to go through all that last night after I purchased it. For some reason, the downloader wouldn't activate via Safari, so I had to launch Chrome in order to get the downloader to launch and start downloading my tracks.

Also had to do the "authorize" thing.

It's possible that the "authorize" thing is new (I've never seen that before) b/c of the ability to now match tracks without actually uploading to the cloud. Must have to do with rights management again.

I eventually was able to get the new music downloaded. I might have been caught up in the process of the separation of the Cloud Drive and Cloud Player. I could not get to the point of being asked to authorize my computer this morning. It might have been a Safari issue but now the issue appears to be moot.
