Out back with the doggies this evening, and there was a lot of running and barking in the dark. And then the SMELL!! Uh oh. Our Brave senior citizen Rat Terrier defeated mr. Skunk (chasing it into the yard ...and dogs... Of the neighbors who annoy us (heh))..

Fortunately we keep a bottle of Skunk Off enzyme shampoo for just such an occasion. The stuff works like magic. My clothes are soaking in a trash bag with some of the stuff. After I had a shower in it..after two Chihuahuas and a Rat Terrier had their baths.

At least the skunks took care of the Yellowjacket nest in the back yard. Larvae are apparently good dinner.

We got skunked last night. I woke up at about 3am and I was like ah jeez not again.

I found a dead skunk under my porch. He was mummified.

We keep extra on hand now. Wife saw a skunk in one of the pastures just 2 evenings ago.
