My old car is still in the driveway of my old house where I haven't lived for 4 1/2 yrs. I guess Google doesn't update too often.

The street view pics are about 4-5 years old here, too.
But the aerial image has been updated to about early May of this year.

"I was walking along a path with two friends - the sun was setting - suddenly the sky turned blood red - I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence - there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city - my friends walked on, and I stood there trembling with anxiety - and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature."

Mine's not more than a year old. I wish they'd tell you when they were going be there so I could do something memorable...

Mine looks like it is only about 6 weeks old! Curious that one view shows two cars in my driveway and if I change the angle it is a different photo and only one car in the driveway. I would have thought this would have been all contiguous photos?

In my town, all the license plates are blurred out.

My block was refreshed recently. Pictures were taken on a sunny day and I had just mowed the lawn - it looked GOOD.

Our house still hasn't had the garage conversion done in our street view so our view is at least 3 1/2 years old.

Mine are from the height of summer (probably mid-July) 2010. The neighbor is out with his family painting the fence and the kids look =small=.
This is interesting since I've never been able to get to my house on Google street view--- no matter what you do you bounce to the next alley for most of my block. But I can see my whole block in amazing detail here. Kind of melancholy....

The bums don't come down my street, only street view is from the highway. But the aerial was taken last summer when i was working on the siding on the front of my house and i think i am actually in the shot, tho i can't get good enough resolution close enough to be sure.

Be here now. Be someplace else later. Is that so complicated?

They are showing the wrong street for me. I had to walk up the street and around the corner!

Google street view of my neighborhood took place on a Wednesday sometime in the past two months, probably around October 10th.

There is something uncanny about Street View. I guess that in my neighborhood it seems so sterile, devoid of human life... the occasional dog walker or car passing. But not enough people for the time of day and density of housing.

If they did that, I'm sure there'd be a lot more "moons" viewable from space. smiling smiley
