sketchparty - Pictionary via Airplay iOS app

Now this looks like a fun modern take on Pictionary. I'll have to give this a shot this weekend.

[sketchparty.tv]

I like this added on to their requirements:

"You'll also need an HDTV and a wireless router. Oh, and electricity. Maybe some comfortable couches. Snacks. And friends and family."

Thanks. Looks cool. We have family staying with us for Christmas so this looks like it may be fun for my boys and their cousin sisters (and us "big people" too!).

I just bought it.

They list the requirement of an Apple TV for the Airplay Mirroring.

I could use it with my Mac Mini and Air Server software.

I was wondering the same thing -- I don't have an Apple TV, but I have a Mac Mini attached to our TV and was wondering if this would work with that set up. Anyone know?

Tried it with the wife and kids before bedtime and it was a blast. Thanks again for the heads up!

Is this any better than the real board game?

I'm the creator of this app - I used AirServer (and also Reflection, another good AirPlay-to-a-Mac app) when I was developing the game to quickly test it. It absolutely works that way. Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks for that info. We had a family over last night and played with them (2 teams of 4 each) and it worked flawlessly via AppleTV. They were wondering if they could do it via their Mac mini and I wasn't sure. I'll be sure to pass this info on to them.

Thanks for making a truly fun app for the whole family.
