friend of mine wants to get a new Sprint phone. Their contract is up and they'd be due for a new phone from Sprint, but would rather not get back into a new 2 year contract right away (they're considering a switch away from Sprint sometime in the near future).

Used is fine (in good/great condition), new is fine, etc. They're probably not going to spring for an iphone or even a smartphone, probably looking to spend $100 or less. Saw a few at Amazon, some on Cowboom, ebay, etc.

Anybody have a particularly good experience at one of these places (or somewhere else) when getting a "new to you" phone?
