I have an Apple Display Studio 17" LCD monitor (M7649) with ADC connector. I used it as a pallet monitor for my G4 Quicksilver for many years... I recenlty put that computer into storage.

Anyway, I'm trying to think of what I can use the monitor for... Any cool projects come to mind?

Connect it to a cube and make a photo slide show... not much use really... the connector is a pita

Just checked out ADC to DVI adapters on eBay and you can buy a new 17" display for what they're asking for the adapters.
I have the same display but it's a 15" for my Cube.

Donate to a museum ? I've got one on my Cube, which will be retiring soon now that the new Mini is up and running.

i chucked one last year because the adapter was so expensive and no one wants a 17" monitor.

Keep storing it for a few more years and then get more than a hundred bucks, when it reaches the vintage status. Or donate it to a museum now..

Sell on LowEndMac. Will a cube drive it? I has a 20" and the cube didn't have enough power for it.

A cube can run up to 1920x1200 - the size of the monitor is not a factor. The Original standard for 20" was 1680x1050 so something was wrong with your setup

i'm donating my parents' old MDD to a single mom of 3 young children (2 girls, 1 boy). if anyone's close enough to PA for cheap shipping on an ADC display, i'd take one.
