Gosh--it's almost like the game is rigged so these things happen at the "world center of racing" (Daytona). What next, Dale Jr will win the next race held at Daytona after his dad is killed there? Oh, wait, they already did that one.

It's funny that no one seems to realize that NASCAR is rigged. Autoweek did a story a few years ago on "the call" and NASCAR's selective rules enforcement to the drivers and teams which will get them the most press, like Danica at Daytona.

The best one was when Richard Petty won his two hundredth race ON THE DAY THAT PRESIDENT REAGEN CAME TO A RACE. At Daytona.

A friends father was chief mechanic/crew manager for an Indy 500 team in 1970(?). One car with one engine. Qualified and raced with the same motor. Finished and came in 6th(?).

Money and advertising has ruined the "sport".
